About Us

A little about St Moses.

Why Saint Mos? Why Saint Mos?

Why would we name a fresh, non-denom, church plant after a saint?

Saint Mo’s is an evangelical church standing in the deep center current of historic Christianity.

It is because of you that we are able to do ministry. Thanks!

Looking Forward

Here is a look at what is in the works at Saint Mos

Two Months In

Two Months In

A lot has happened at Saint Mo’s since our official launch, just less than 2 months ago.

We spent 3 weeks unpacking our Core Values once more, this time discovering how each one of the values grows naturally out of the main movements of the Christ event (e.g. Hope from the Resurrection).

Next, we jumped into a study of Matthew’s Gospel that will last us through Easter, with a break for Advent, Christmas and January. Our sermons now are regularly available on the sermons page of the website.

Sam, Esther and their boys are moving to Baltimore City to play a critical role at Saint Mo’s. As part-time Discipleship Pastor, Sam will give shape to missional small groups, adult education and outreach.

Replicable Hospitality

Replicable Hospitality

When you walk in my door—whether it’s because your kids are coming to play, or I’ve invited you over for coffee, or we are having a party, or you are just dropping by—there are a few things I can pretty much guarantee you’ll notice right away. First, I am probably going to be covered in flour. My house will be a mess—papers all over the table, dishes all over the counters, and our most recent meal all over the children and/or floors…

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

- Dr Martin Luther King

Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye.

- H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

If it were not for guests all houses would be graves.

- Khalil Gibran

For in Christ, neither our most conscientious religion nor disregard of religion amounts to anything. What matters is something far more interior: faith expressed in love.

- Galatians 5:6

“Only slowly do the rays of the sun drive away the night and usher in a new day, and thus, only slowly does one become a perfect contemplative.”

- Saint Isidore

Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: What! You too? I thought I was the only one.

- C.S. Lewis
